Schengen Business Visa Requirements

General

• One visa application form completely typed (typewriter/computer) with complementary page.
• Two recent passport-sized photographs with light background. Dull or blur photographs are unacceptable.
• Passport valid for at least three months beyond the intended stay and previous passport/s.
• One photocopy of passport pages with information & Schengen/UK/US visa.
• List of all children (NADRA) traveling or not traveling & List of relatives living abroad.
• Self-declaration by the applicant on true statement.
• Proof of an existing round trip air ticket (reservation / booking slip etc)
• Proof of existing travel-health insurance valid for the Schengen states and covering a minimum amount of 30,000 Euros for medical treatment and home repatriation in case of illness or death.
• ACE, ADAMJEE, EFU, AIG New Hampshire, Askari G.I., Century (CICL), IGI, PICIC, The Universal, United UIC & TAKAFUL insurance companies can only fulfill the requirements of the Schengen States. OR who cannot be insured by the above mentioned Insurances, can get a Travel-Health Insurance through their relatives, friends or business partners from Swiss Insurance Companies.
• If you have been refused a visa by an Embassy or High Commission in the last 2 years; written explanation about reason for trip refusal.

Business Requirement

• Letter of invitation from the Swiss business partner, stating duration and purpose of visit.
• Letter from applicant’s company/employer stating his position, duration of employment and purpose.
• Proof of business activities with a company in Switzerland (agency agreement, etc)
• Certificate from the Chamber of Commerce & Industry
• Hotel reservation and full address of Hotel in case of attending an Event, Fair or Exhibition.

Guideline

• Applications will only be accepted and processed after submission of all required documents mentioned in the list.
• During process the passport will not be “returned” and kindly do not submit the original documents except passport and visa application form.
• Please note that the Embassy have right to ask for additional and original documents, so bring along if found necessary for review.
• Applicants living in Afghanistan must appear personally at the Embassy.
• The Embassy reserves the right to call on any applicant and ask for a personal appearance.
• For your convenience, visa applications can be submitted in Gerry’s FedEx Visa Drop Box offices in Pakistan http://www.visadropbox.com/ UAN # 111 811 111, or directly at the Embassy in Islamabad.
• If the visa application is submitted in Gerry’s/FedEx drop box, all queries regarding passports will be only entertained by Gerry’s/FedEx offices where the application will be submitted.
• Applicant who is submitting his/her visa application at the Embassy have to appear personally and will be entertained on first come first served basis.
• Please bring clear PHOTOCOPIES of all mentioned documents together with this visa requirements list.
• All the appointment requests, invitation letters, application status & application forms via post mail, fax and e-mail are not required and will remain unanswered.
• Visa application/s must be submitted at least 1 month prior to departure.
• Schengen Visa Fee 60.00 Euros will be charged in precise Pak Rupee and children less than 6 years of age are exempted from visa fee.
